Students who have a secondary school leaving certificate and can provide evidence of professional experience* can obtain the Fachhochschulreife or the Abitur. The school management decides on exceptions.
Running a family household, service in the German Armed Forces, civilian service or a social year count as professional activity; periods of unemployment or voluntary work can be taken into account.
Students who have obtained their intermediate school leaving certificate at our school or another further education college can also transfer to the Abitur course without the professional activity. In this case, please make an appointment for a consultation.
After four semesters, you will achieve the Fachhochschulreife and after six semesters the Abitur (grades E1- Q4).
Classes are offered in the mornings and evenings in Gronau and also in the mornings in Ahaus. This qualification is also offered in the Abitur-online course.
General subjects such as mathematics, German, English, natural sciences and humanities are taught, as well as Dutch or French as a second foreign language.
